    130dc storage/draw system

finally got around to starting to set up the back of the 130 (its only taken about 6 years ).
not finished but got a good start at it today and thought i would share some pics.
the height is to fit the 110 waceo. fridge will be on the right as will the coleman stove and gas bottles. this will all slide on the roller bearings that are under the slide.
    any thoughts or comments welcome.

Looks to be a good start.

Here are a few shots of the new one I've started to build. Quickly built before trip last weekend. Last one was tossed out as it was temporary (8 yrs old). Stage 2 will be finished off with 2 slider drawers under neath. This setup is for 4 people camping.

I use the tail gate as a table all the time so I don't have the fridges on the rear. All the everyday stuff is kept in the rear drawer setup. 2* fridges are front LHS of false floor (damn, no photos). Balance of gear is either underneath or larger tubs in front of drawers.

This is where the fridges sit. Made the bit over the wheel arch removable to aid in getting the rest of the false floor past the spare wheel. Fridges kept in place with turnbuckles

I found some plans for building some drawers for a ute with a tilting fridge slide. They were on the 4wd Action forum I think, it was a while ago. Anyway I thought you might be interested. I just need to work out how to attach the file.

I think that should do it.

P.S. Tilting fridge slide sounds like a good idea and they do have their merits however they also have some short comings. Yes it allows you to see inside a high mounted fridge but because it is tilted it makes it a PITA to get things in and out and you always have the lid falling shut. I am currently working on a plan to make one that drops down and stays level on a swing lever type arrangement like the ones you can buy but not as heavy or large.
