yes he was at the L/R expo , busy chatting to different potential customers about a few mods and things he does inhouse , said to drop Rangie off to him and he will need it for a week. but I will need to organise another ride while the rangie is offline. Look forward to the "Blown 93":twisted:

I intend to keep my rangie as stock as possible so won't be cutting into rear quarters , what happended to your rangie ? I quite like that colour:cool:

I spent four years building up the rangie, then made a rushed decision to sell it and bought a Def130 instead which has cost me a lot of money.

With two young boys in car seats, I found the Rangie had limited room for camping trips once I packed the 80 litre waeco in the back. Plus with the V8 rego and fuel at 20litres per 100 it was just getting a bit expensive to run.

silly decision that I really regret...

The colour was called Arizona Tan and I have never seen the same colour again.

That Rangie would have been an awesome Project vehicle for a 300tdi conversion :( if you were to keep it and fit an economical / lighweight engine. seeing they pop us cheap here for sub $1000 ish.

A friend has a 4 door rangie classic 85-86 era almost identical colour to mine but not quite plymoth blue , He goes camping regularly with his kids , has a full length roof rack which he uses to pack full of his camping gear , never seems to run out of room in the vehilce , he's built a draw/shelf system for back of his and the spare is on the swing away , often manages to carry enough food / tools / shovel / table etc etc etc.
