    NZ Railways.

Currently travelling in the South Island of NZ and took one of the scenic train trips out of Dunedin......fantastic!
The Dunedin Railway Station is a must see for any railway enthusiast.
    An absolutely beautiful building.

    Cheers, Mick.

Hi Mick and I’m jealous, I was there in 2007 and loved the place.

I plan on doing that trip next time I’m over there, soon I hope.

But as the old saying goes, it didn’t happen with out picture or do we have to wait till you get home?

BTW, did you notice if the tram is running in Christchurch yet?

Will be spending some time in Christchurch later this week so will check out the tram situation then. Today i spotted a coal train running alongside the Buller River Gorge, hauling a load coal in from the mines in the area, maybe from around Greymouth.
Pics will have to be put up when I get home.

Have also spotted a few Series Landies along the way.
Today I seen an 88 county, nice looking vehicle and the first time I have ever seen one.

    Cheers, Mick.

    Funny you should mention that.

When I was in Christchurch, I saw more Range Rovers there than I have ever seen anywhere in Aust.

And saw more Defenders in Queenstown than anywhere else.

Came across one (Swb County) and had a short yarn with the owner and took a few snaps of it. Not sure if it's the same one I spotted yesterday. Say's he has had it twenty years, Turbo Dieasel, 1 inch lift by the previous owner, very nice looking vehicle.

    Cheers, Mick.

    Tram still out of action!
A lot of work going on in the "Red Zone" as a fifteen second piece of mother natures aggression two years ago has left a huge legacy.

    Cheers, Mick.
