I think it might be time for a dedicated thread so all these great Railway and Tram videos are in one place.
This should make it easier to keep up with new videos, even if you only check out the thread every once and a while.
NOTE, this is also a great place to post your own videos!

Thanks for sharing. When I saw the name Coffee Pot I immeadiately thought of the old coal train that used to run from the old Burwood Coal mine through the tunnel behind the baths at Mereweather Beach (Newcastle) to Newcastle Harbour.

Unfortunately, nothing at all remains of this old railway line and even the tunnel is sealed up.
A bit more information on the old Coffee Pot at Mereweather.

Apologies mate, I hope you don't think I'm hijacking your Thread but the old Coffee Pot has always interested me.
A revisit to the PR is high on my bucket list.

While we are talking "Coffee Pot" engines, a name that appears to be common in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, here is another "coffee Pot" that used to run between Fassifern and Toronto on Lake Macquarie. they actually called it a tram but it consisted of a steam engine pulling one carriage!!!The engine looked more like a shed on wheels than a true steam engine. This is the same engine that was later modified and used on the Glenrock/ Mereweather coal line.

A bit more on it. I love the sign that says "Passengers are requested not to shoot rabbits or pick wild flowers whilst this tram is in motion"
