    Thanks for posting these Tim, they are quite spectacular clips.

    You would be aware no doubt that we have a couple of ascending/descending loops in NSW but our trains are nowhere as long but containers are lighter ?

    While it is permissable to head up to 4 locos here it would be most unusual for it to occur, as it would probably go beyond the capacity of the draw gear, even banking the 10000 tonne 82 wagon trains at Ardglen is done 3 head 3 banking (a total of 24000-27000 hp depending on locos used - sounds good)

    They can be snapped.

    This youtube of the border loop would be much better with a camera drone - I'll have to save up

    Hi 87County, I have hours of video taken at and around Border Loop. Even had permission to go onto the property to take video, but, as you posted, a single arial clip would do it far more justice than all my hours of videos combined can do.

    What do you make of this one for multiple units? Admittedly 48s aren't going to break drawbar gear but I'm pretty sure they were all on line.
