    Thumbs up

That looks like a very good organization with some lovely "machinery". How is it funded?
Amongst the badges, I saw two Beyer Peacock (Gorton) badges. We used to live around the corner from the Beyer Peacock works which were HUGE.
Aaaahhh, my trainspotting days, I remember them well.

From what I know,??, its self funded, with Gov help here and there.
The story/problem is all Tas rails were sold to a private company that played 21st century Robber barons and then sold it all back to the Tas gov,, unless the privately owned railways like Don River own their own track,, they cant run anywhere. No wooden carriages allowed on Main Lines.
The railway from devonport to burnie is just aching for a tourist train but it could only run 6months of the year due to Tassies,er, climate. Aparently Huon valley Railway trains cant even get out of their shed,,,

It's a shame the trains can't be rated to run on main lines like they do here. Thanks for sharing, Pedro.
