			Bradshaw's Guide

					Hello Railway Fans,

No doubt as you already know SBS is screening episodes of Great British Railway Journeys. Each week features a different section of Bradshaw's Guide for Tourists in Great Britain & Ireland (1866). Bradshaw also wrote a book about Continental Railways.

Do you know if a similar book was written by a Bradshaw-style author for Australia? If so who was the author, what is the book's title and when was it written?

I was thinking something relatively contemporary to Bradshaw's two books - late 1800's to early 1930s. I am aware that the first line Queensland, which was from Ipswich to Bigge's Camp (now Grandchester) only opened in 31 July 1865. So the book might not be that extensive in size.

 Kind Regards
 Lionel
