My favourite is around 5m15s in when our hero Tommy says he hasn't used the strap but knows the procedure. This comes just after he has connected 2 straps with a shackle.

This is the same tool that we've seen before trashing disco's.

Smells of poor little rich kid with nothing better to do and no brain to come up with anything better.

    A SHOVEL!

The whole thing could have been avoided with A SHOVEL! my god it annoys me when people faff about for ages coming so close to killing each other all because they are too bloody lazy to do a bit of digging.

With a Jack, a Shovel and a few matts you will get out of almost anything without crazy amounts of potential energy waiting to cut someone in half.

Snatch strap attached BOTH ENDS to tow balls
    Using a $1.99 shackle
I'm really amazed it held together.
Sounded like the camera man had the most to offer, shame he was too busy with the camera to be more constructive.

"It got you out what more do you want"

Well a winch that's not broken, a new towing assembly, another snatch strap or two, a new tow rope and a replacement for anything else used in the rather costly recovery. But no we don't want to get any mud on ourselves.

I am not laughing, there were kids and spectators all round.
I have seen a shackle go through a rear window and a cargo barrier.....
