I would ring ARB. They are very helpful and one they could answer quickly.

The short answer is yes - but ARB will probably want to sell you a winch bar instead - and that would be the easiest option (although a little pricey)

However, if you are reasonably handy cutting and fabricating metal you can certainly modify a non-winch bullbar to mount a winch. For example they have been mounted to a section of 10mm ht aluminium plate which is then bolted by way of angle to the bullbar chassis mounts. By doing this you can have the winch in what I consider to be a better location (up higher) than using the standard ARB winch bull bar & cradle option.

Can you buy the plate required or did you fab them yourself?

I modeled them myself and had them cut and folded. Then welded it together.

G'Day all. Can anyone tell me if the more recent Aldi winches have better grease then the previous ones?

I've just bought one and would rather not disassemble it just to find out.
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers, BDave.
