But I have a pull pal ground anchor
This is a fold up one so easy to store in the back of the car

I have used it in mud , sand and many other types of conditions
I used to use it on my winch challenge truck

About the only type of boat anchor that would suit, would be the "plough" type, as designed for the Sunderland Flying Boats, not the most easily stored bit of kit in a Landy. This type of anchor is designed to dig in and bury itself deeper under load.

I suggested some time back, a disc plough share with a "sturdy" bolt on shaft, could be used and can be taken apart easily for stowage.
Failing that, just about any good sized lump of tree can be buried in a trench and used as what is called a "baulk" to anchor winch gear in an emergency.
For that matter, even the spare tyre can be used in the very same way, or 2 of them set up in series about 6 feet apart is even better. Star droppers or some other form of picket set up as 3 in a row and connected will do the same job.
Many ways to get strong anchorage in an emergency.

The problem with using boat anchors is that they are not "rated" for use as a winch anchor. It may be fine - but who knows what happens if it does bite and load comes on - is the shank strong enough, is where it joins the flukes strong enough, are the flukes themselves known - there are too may unknowns.

Use a wheel or buy a rated 4wd anchor.

Sarca anchors were originally designed as ground anchors (I have one as an overnight anchor on my boat, and have taken with me as a ground anchor before - bit awkward though ∵ of its size).

Not very likely.

The Sarca I have weighs 15kg. Any situation that is able to fling that with any force will have already broken the rope.

The anchor is a plough type. I would trust that a hell of lot more than some bodge using rope and a half buried tyre. As pressure goes on the Sarca, it digs in more but as pressure goes on the tyre it tries to pull itself free of the ground.

??? are you sure a 8000 +lb rated rope is going to break before a 15kg anchor pulls out of a hole.

I think the bulbar in the following vid would be heavier than 15kg, granted its a snatch & not a gradual winch pull but illustrates forces involved

I think the operative words are "it's a winch not a snatch" the failure of a ground anchor (pulling out of the ground, as opposed to a mechanical/catastrophic failure) will be gradual, allowing the 'stretch' in the cable to return, the anchor will then move at the retrieve speed of the winch. A sudden catastrophic failure is another kettle of fish.
