Snatch Recovery goes wrong - Ouch

My Mama always said if you do not want to listen then you must feel ... but nobody said it would hurt this much !!

Old video but it shows exactly how not to do it.

What is the massive hurry in the first video? It doesn't look like the tide is ever going to come in, there are no waves, etc.

Hehehe, I've watched many all 4 adventure episodes and never saw that. Me personally would most likely crawl into the fetal position and cry for a bit.

Anybody that drives into salt water, near salt water or where salt water will be in the next few hours is a DICK HEAD

    no sympathy for these morons,

I do have pity for an unsuspecting buyer of a used 4x4 that has been driven on a beach

So you are calling just about everyone on here a DICK HEAD. Quite a silly statement really.

I have driven as most people have on beaches - if you haven't you are missing a great part of 4wding. Not had a rusted 4wd either.

I agree. It is pretty harsh to insult everyone who drives on the beach. The beach is, after all, a road in most states.

I think your opinion puts you "out there".

Both of those videos are better than seeing a shackle go through somebodies head, or snapped wire rope taking it off....
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

A Dampener over the rope would have helped
Or they could have been at least 1 rope length away from the Recovery as recovery safety rules suggest.
