ZipGripGo - Alternative Traction Aid for Snow and Mud

That seems and interesting product if it is efficient.

    Lebanon,

Thanks for the heads up on this neat product. Pity it's only available in the USA at the moment , through a crown funding campaign.
Once it proves itself in the market, hopefully it'll come to Oz (and Lebanon!).

I still would rather have chains.
I am a bit suss about the video, I would like to see the whole vehicle - it could be very easily held back, by either the hand brake on or being attached to another vehicle. They would have their limitations.

Good product if you don't often see snow or mud! Probably much cheaper than chains!

Would be a pain if you had little or no clearance from rotors/calipers, I guess you'd tackle that issue if it arose.

Typical short sighted Americans, will not ship outside the USA. Got a great product tying to get it to take off but is only interested in shipping inside the USA. For that reason alone I hope the Chinese copy it and sell it across the world for half the price.

I think we need to come up with a different name for the people who live in the USA. To label anyone living in the continent of America the same as the people inside the USA is an insult.

A bit more up-market, for trucks.

Zip Grip Go and interesting idea

    Hi

    http://www.zipgripgo.com/

Not sure how much use they would be on a 4wd in mud but I think it's an interesting idea which would probably be good in snow and ice

Great idea for the front wheels of a Defender in snow and ice.

Would have to be pretty cheap to be that disposable though...

    Cheers,

Americans don't see the point of shipping outside the US as the "World" ends at their borders.
