    What have they done to the new Defender to make the ride worse than my 98 model?
    He does go on a bit about the rough ride.
    I don't find the ride in my Defender a problem.

    Sadly this is the way most Australian's view land rovers a reputation built up in the bad old days of Series 3 is still with us. How LR let the media still continue to give bad reviews is beyond me...

    Also for some reason Leaf Springs are still viewed as the bee all to end all in Aus!!! I wish i could put that guy in a leaf sprung rear Toyo Hilux and see how he felt.... With nice drum brakes on the rear as well!
