I suppose with China now being the worlds 2nd largest car market this move was inevitable. With supervision, engineering and systems in place I would imagine that the quality of the product should be fine.

After all some Hondas and Toyotas are assembled in Thailand, and BMWs, Benzs and VWs in South Africa.
