Not surprised. What now? Will LR support the people who support them and fix the issues? Nah.. doubt it. What a bunch of muppets.

Are other owners like me. I really like my D2 and do not want to sell but seems a never ending problem. Right now I am confronted with a small puddle of coolant on the drive way, will need to look into that on the weekend, probably need to replace a couple more hoses. I need new shocks in the back but a quote for $ 1000 for a pair of billies has slowed my enthusiasm. Bit rough just off the idle when cold probably oil in the injector harness but can't quite be bothered looking. There is a new high pitched whistle MMMMM not sure about that. Need to service or replace the jack. Interior roof lining is sagging, Leak starting right front axle seal to fix in the next 10 000k, This is on top of all the other extensive repairs that I have had to do so far, Then there is all the other potential stuff that you read about on this forum , cant wait for my turn to have a run away engine! Seems to be the price we are prepared to pay for interesting cars with a bit of character. But still no excuse for LR no to lift their game.

guess thats why a land rover is a "enthusiast" owners car.
my RRC i have owned it for twelve months and i would be very lucky if i have done 10 thousand kms, if not the heads blown, then starter motor with a very stubbon 8mm hex bolt that still wont come out and constant flooding (since the stage 1 heads were done) and other little things that goes wrong with it i will never trade it in cos when its going its unstopable
    long live the classic!!!
