Having looked at the DC100 the prototype I see this as more of a concept experiment than production....mind you, would have said that about a Disco4 a few yrs back.
I am quite excited about the prospect if they are willing to be this visionary with production models, and I am in no way against technology....I am working on an active suspension system with software based active terrain response for my fender.....but i have COMPLETE mechanical over ride and 3 levels of shut down to allow me to go back to NO ELECTRONICS.
BUT NOW FOR THE WHINGE
I DO NOT see this as a possible replacement for my defender. Just glad that my 16yr old landy can be replaced with another 16yr old one in another 16yrs...so Ive got a few yrs of fendering yet.
I guess if this is a modern work horse for a farmer, then the modern farmer must look different too. Does he wear a suit in the field growing his GM crops (no not General Motors) cause his landy sure does...
I see this car as the suit when what is needed is overalls
Anyone else???
