    The new £355 million Jaguar Land Rover plant on the Wolverhampton and Staffordshire border will produce an engine every 36 seconds. JLR bosses said 300000 four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines would be manufactured a year.

    GM were making 10,000 Chev small block a day at Tonawanda one time, and Flint Main was knocking out 7,000 Buick V6 a day same time.
