I don't know exactly which model LR that is in the photos, but I notice the news report does its best to demonise 4WDs.

The caption on one photo says, "The 'selfish' mum allegedly dumps her giant 4x4 across driveways when dropping kids off at school".

I'm sure a lot of other vehicles like a Territory or a Kluger would be a similar size and possibly longer. However, the media like to give the impression that since it is a 4WD it must be gigantic and blocks more driveways than other vehicles.
