Why? They have a extremely capable very comfortable four wheel drive in the RR Vogue.
It's certainly not as cheap as a Bentley but its more practical AND a damn sight cheaper.

No-one ever made money by trying to compete against an existing product unless they could improve upon it in some way. (eg pricepoint, speed, luxury etc).

This idea of a more upmarket Rangie makes no sense at all.
