    My pop used to drive the old SEC troop trucks. One day he hit a dog, didn't swerve, the guys in the back got cranky at him and told him he should have tried to miss it. He saw another dog sometime later, swerved and missed it. In short, the guys with the injuries in the back all agreed he didn't need to swerve to avoid animals anymore....
