This is happening alot in afghanistan and iraq.... I lost a mate in Afghanistan back in June, sean reeve, killed by roadside bomb was also in a thin skinned vehicle. Three others were killed with him. A disgraceful loss of life.

.. ridiculous and really ... me off. the army ( US, AUS ,UK etc) will spend literally millions of dollars to medivac a wounded soldier after surviving a roadside bomb, but they wont spend the money to make sure they are in the right vehicles in the first place.

Makes me ,, furious.
