Yep - I past quite a few bogged at Fraser a couple of weeks ago...funnily enough the owners didnt look as satisfied as those in the weekly school drop off runs where most 100-200 series are used...

I believe these comparisons have been made in the US against US models with a US media bias and misunderstanding of the vehicles compared (just as most LR enthusiasts know of the media bias in Australia against anything but Asian vehicles).
You can NOT compare the H2 Hummer with any of the vehicles mentioned.
The H3 can be compared with some 4 x 4's but the H2 should be compared with similar powered vehicles up there with the truck type Fords/GMC's & Rams. (It is unfortunate that so many H2's are purchased for "bling").
Toyota in the US is now in a commanding position in the US auto market to be very influential. As much as I love the US and thank god they are on our side, unfortunately they have the most biased (read politically corrupt) media in the civilised world (just look at the current presidential election).
But then I guess the type of people who would be reading this particular artice (or more likey those who this article is presented to) are more likely to be the School Mums rather than hard core off roaders.
