    Mr Spencer told the jury that the brake pedals were worn and that, as a result, the brake pedal had to be pressed “pretty much down to the floor” before it began to stop the car.

    Yeah, it really shows that they know what they're on about.
    Even if it's a typo & they meant brake PADS, what's that got to do with pedal height?

    They were also concerned the car had a gearbox and other parts from 5 different model Defenders.... We all know that parts are not interchangeable on Landies.

    Then his neighbour testified that the car broke down after a 4WDing trip....
