    groucho - I just love this thread - finding this stuff when doing a resto really adds a special dimension for me. All the old badges etc, isn't it brilliant? Just spent the day working on mine - in between taking little trips over the Har's paddock to perv on Zulu's 80 inch Sweetpea.

    Looking forward to seeing this vehicle when you've finished.

    Scallops mate. You people are lucky your Land rovers came on wheels.
    Mine the one i chose to do came 300 K's in a ute.A basket case no doubt. So i have to start from scratch. Yes you can carry 80" in a falcon ute.
    No easy fix. ahh well.......Mark

    where is the rest?
    in another Ute some were!

    Tub bonnet and guards all went on 1 ute, seriosley.
    only missing 2 wheels swivels 1 rear axle. Jumped the gun and run out of film
    Looked realy daggy, less than a ton. travelled by darkness so nobody would recognise me.

    The front diff was good except the front pinion was wedged down in the diff.
    No piccy as it probably still in orbit over the back fence. bearing cup cracked and tracta joint showed some minor scuffing. minor job..........

    Doors were good, door locks were a bid dicky. Who needs em anyway

    Rear tub was good except for the 9 random bullet holes and someone
    attacked it with the hot spanner and melted a bit. easy fix. NOT
