Let's hope we do see you :) - would be great to see the Fiat out there - nothing else in the stable that's ready?
And Tim - my congratulations on getting that sweet 80 on the road.

I agree it would be great to see the Fiat going, really should start working on it again, mmm electrics. Now which box to start looking for parts in:o
Nope no other 4wd's just the rangies, nothing else would be suitable - I did check with CC early on. If only we still had the Willys Jeep, that would've mixed in well  it was left hand drive also:twisted:
guy do u have any photos of the fiat before you stripped it down
im intirgued as to what it is
Well I don't think that we will be bringing it out this weekend. I am not happy with the radiator. Coolant level has dropped down below the top of the fins with just a few fairly short drives around over the last couple of days and there are quite a few of the fins missing. Probably could do with replacing it before taking it on a three day trip. Will have to take a Game I think.
Tim.
wow that thing is cool
i want one hah:D
Tim,
maybe a flush and reverse flush, then take it for a spin, see what comes out and what difference it makes? Im not going on the weekend but Im disappointed for you if you cant take it!
:(
reminds me of when I did a headgasket in an older car, and noticed the level down, my young lad suggested (helpfully)
"maybe you havent lost the water, maybe its just crouching down a bit and you can't see it":D

PS:- I must admit that when I first saw it I thought "who slaughtered that??!" sacriledge etc etc......
the more I look at it the more I like it for being that something different, I like the original but Gumnut does look the ducks nuts!
Thanks Digger,
I know what you mean, I knew it wasn't original when I bought it but I liked what had been done and I still prefer to have one that has not gone to the scrap heap. I may one day get another and do it all original.
I have a couple of other series vehicles I can take this weekend (both SWB Games so still a little out of the ordinary :)) so I think I will leave Gumnut at home until I am certain of the mechanical state. A short trip would not worry me but this is three days driving so I would rather be safe than sorry.
Tim.
Well Gumnut was still here when we got home so I assume she said no to fitting the towbar. But then you would have had to get past those two vicious dogs (and yes he has already marked his new property :)).
And since it is still here I suppose I had better fix the radiator :(.
