Very heavy if my 1600cc block is anything to go by!

I decided to mount it sideways to get the mass closer to the post. While it was was connected to the chain-block, I put my 80kg on top of the block and nothing broke or bent, so it should be OK to take a whole engine. The post is 50x50x3 with a brace about 1/3 of the way up.

    Cheers Charlie

    A rough estimate - 250kg. Probably less.

The siamese bore should be lighter as it's got bigger holes inside!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

It weighs about the same as a v8 - 180kgs - I have a series 1 engine and a V8 on engine stands in my garage at the moment. Both are the gasweld version - cost $75 each.

$79 for the 3-wheeled 350kg one and $82 for the 4-wheeled 450kg one as at todays specials list.

If you get one from them, ask for one that has ALL the bits that are supposed to come with it and try to ensure that ALL the holes have been drilled out fully to fit the supplied bolts...

Cool - I hope you get as much use out of yours as I plan to get out of mine.
