I am a customer of shannons. Unfortunately I had to claim on a vehicle due to a flood. Non landrover low to the ground sports car lotus Europa. I was a little slow in contacting them due to the house damage etc. They could not be more helpful. They were more concerned about the house (that was not insured with them) and my well being than the cars. An assesor came and had a look, ticked the boxes and sent the cheque.
