Oh the indignity of it all!!!!...
Having fun on the Team W4 Challenge near Perth on the weekend. The 86" on half worn AT tires acquitted itself very well against some much bigger competition, its weight, narrow width with no upper body and low gearing being its biggest assets. I got caught out here being in the wrong gear in a very deep hole and thinking about the rock ledge just behind the photographer.
Any event that you can drive the car onto the trailer at the end of it is a good event.
Chris
And my other "non-proceed" for the weekend
You can see the punch hanging from the tree branch behind the 86" and I tried to get up on the bank on the right of the photo, but the side slope got me and I got hung up on a log. Was time for a winch out rather than risk damaging a cross member underneath.
Unfortunately I don't have any photos of it doing the good stuff as I was too busy driving!!!

A few pics of the finished 1954 86" now powered by a thundering 2.25 diesel, we also had a punt around the recent W4 challenge weekend in the old girl. Had a great time!

Hi, just acquired this nice 1957 Series 1
One of fewer than 500 sold in the States in 1957.
Will be picking your brains if I get stumped
Thanks
Rob
Well done and welcome
Looks a nice straight example.

Now rebuilding DM2 or dropping in a spare 25D4 distributor add fuel and bring it back to life.
