They cant do much better these days, My D3 was built early January and delivered in March. Not a big improvement considering it was rolling when it left the factory

You know, when one thinks about it 111 days to get from being half a dozen crates in the UK Midlands, to be assembled and delivered to a customer in Bathurst Australia isn't bad going.
Particularly when you consider that there's the travel from Solihul to the docks in Liverpool, onto a freighter (in 1950 likely a WWII Liberty Ship travelling at 11 knots) to sail to Sydney. Almost half the 111 days, likely more, would have been spent at sea.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I have trawled that swap meet in previous years for LR bits with no luck. My Dad, who went last weekend, mentioned there were a couple of LRs there. I am now in WA so is a bit hard to get there these days!
I would have loved to have a look over it!
Cheers,
Chris
i wish i could go to swap meets and find lr stuff
