I hope you can get it mate, it sounded like a cracker.
Hi all
How much would a 52 series one, one owner be worth to purchase. The drivers side door needs some work and replacement front guard, but other than it is all original. It was offered to me last weekend as the elderly gentleman that has it, used it on his farm for the last 59 years (on and off) has a 130 tray back to do the work now and it just sits there under cover until he takes it for a run to keep it going. It would be a real shame to see it go to ruin or worse still get trashed by some numbnut who wants a paddock basher. If the finance minister (SHMBO) give approval for the expenditure, It's acquisition will complete the set of S1, S2a and S3.
Cheers Ian

Its really hard to say could be $100 or $4000 all depends on cond of the body work if there is any rust or accdent damage, how good the drive line is and so on. If you had a pic or two it would help![]()
I think you should rescue her whatever the cost...... you can always sell her to a good home later on down the track....
Remember folks in your Workshop nobody can hear you scream !
Just remember it's easier to seek forgiveness than permission. I know as I just purchased a series one today and I havent told the minister for finance, should be interisting
Is this a "Whats it worth thread"?
It would be worthwhile remembering the .nb: WHERE HAS MY THREAD GONE???
Although it is not a vendor asking the question.
Diana
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
Best of luck with that Jeff, SWMBO said no last night so I might have to get it and hide it at work like I did with the Smeg the S3 until I told her I only bought it for our young bloke. A year or so later, and she now thinks the re-build looks great and says she is looking forward to me doing Ralph the S2 so we can cruise around the Border Ranges National Park next summer with the roof off and the windscreen down.
