Yes thats basically right. However they did have a early type hard top that is slightly different to the production version in 1949.Quote:

I did the same thing ..scanned those pics from the Taylor book... great minds think alike .. The book also shows detailed pics of the strapping setup. A chap on the UK forum helped me out with more info too. NOW , I have enough info to go ahead with sewing one up...
Just have to buy in 3 metres of ripstop canvas . No eyelets needed .
