    80" split rims

    Hello all,
I have just put a set of 80" split rims for sale in the markets section.

    They are the genuine item.

    Thats them.

They were usually fitted to vehicles which came with optional 700 tyres new.

Quite a few 49's from Oz seem to have had this option as well

You can almost replicate them by using the Austin Champ inner and the GPW/MB outer.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    Better explain....

MB = WW2 Willys Jeep 1941-45 , the early ones had single piece rims.

GPW = The Ford built copy of the Willys WW2 Jeep 1942-45

    640,000 produced from memory.
