    Transtasman site

Went to have a look for new postings on the Transtasman Series One site and found that the admin has had to close it due to not enough activity.
Shame really but understandable, it has been quiet for months.

I started the site when there wasn't a S1 section on AULRO and when the Series One garage was folding, now there is an AULRO section and also the LRSOC forum.

One can not be in so many places, work full time, moderate and run forums as well as have time to restore your own vehicles. Let alone have a life.

    Yes a shame.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Hopefully the info there is being saved somewhere ??

it is a pity but I am also one guilty of only occasional visits and rare posts

One of the great joys of the Trans-Tasman site was that people generally stuck to the subject, rather than waffle on about anything, or post personal messages in someone else's thread.

A great pity that it has gone - I thought it was the best of the three!

With the demise of the TT site, all of Charley's excellent chassis rebuild story and pics were lost . Or was it saved ?

The plan is to merge the content onto the LRSOC site. Onto a subforum for people to browse. I still need to speak to the Forum administrator regarding this but it will happen.

Transtasman and LRSOC Forum run similer software so a merge is possible. Unlike this forum which runs a totally different system.

You won't be able post but atleast you can look at what content there is.

Sorry about having to close it, but due to the such low use it was not worth the hosting and maintenance i need to do on it.

    LRO53, thanks.

from what INC says maybe TWO copies of the forum could be attached to two different forums therefore more accessible
