Bob's one has a rolled cylinder in the middle, which has been welded along the seam - I didn't check to see if it was steel or aluminium,

This is the reel on the SME SIIa fire engine so it is a little different to the one on Wayne's S1, but I don't have any other images.

They are all very simular to that - I can get plenty which are gear/electrical driven but seem to be having trouble locating an old manual hose reel.I have just been to look at Bob's S2A fire-engine and his reel looks much like this one - is it the same Wayne?
There is plenty in the UK - but freight costs are harsh.
Ps - Chazza had a couple of chats with Bob he seems like a great bloke.
