    Well done - looks great I would like to see it in real life & and hope to see you driving it around. Going thru rego is one thing that I dread!!!

    25 yrs back when I restored my 80" I made the hoops from 1" (I think it was 1" from memory) old stock gal electrical conduit from the store in the Heidelberg repeat hospital. I copied the fittings in gal sheet & brazed them on & painted the welds with silver frost. I'm sure you can still order the gal conduit in from Middys, they use it in lift wells etc. they are very easy to make just with basic hand tools, you just need to borrow a set to copy. The door top parts are the hard bits.

    I got the bloke in Moorabbin to make the canvas, (around the corner from MacNamaras) took it to a LR Concourse & they did not pick on the hood frame.
