    80 in oil change

Thought i should drop the oil out of the 80, Where is the best place to get an 80in 2litre oil filter? Is it a viable option to just drain and flush the oil and leave the filter? Had a look around on the net but 80 filters look a little hard to come by.

Try Morwood Motors (ABS Brakes) in Townsville Street Fyshwick - they may have some in stock. Rick got one for a spreadbore 2 litre a while back from there.

The bypass filters for an 80" are pretty much made of unobtanium. Your options are one of the many adapters available both here and in the UK at the LRSOC, or something like a dunny roll or Franz filter.

The most important thing to check is that the gauze filter in the oil pump pick is still intact, not clogged and without damage or extra holes.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
