Yes I have the skills ,knowledge, money and money and small amount of patience and my modesty is only exceeded by my good looks.
    2) After decicion 1 decide on your budget and stick to it. One will present itself. Of course the waiting period is inversly proportional to the budget!
I am a tight arse and dont ever spend more than I have to on anything hence the money and money .I know what I want to pay, yet I would hand over a bit more for a good one like on Ebay down Bunbury way if it was a 2g cheaper.

I waited 20 years for my LRPV but I got one in the end and it's a ball tearer! Within my budget too!!!
All things come to those who wait it took almost 20 years to get my Mosquito Sailplane I bought it a mess and now it looks like a new one.

I thought so 600 ckd . Its a bit of a mess but worth a drive in the new 90 to pick it up. Anyone got a car trailer they can hire out for a few bottles of vino and a wheelbearing repack.

    Splendid work!

My 107" is 57261794 - 1955 Basic Vehicle RHD Export.

Will be interesting to compare the two and see how a CKD and a fully assembled vehicle from roughly the same period compare.

What sort of condition is it in? I know of a couple of 86" that might have a donor engine.

Oh, I'm not worried Mike. I have an uncanny knack of turning up rare Landies.

I'm thinking pre-production model privately imported to Oz...........

Yes I have looked at that one 1948 pre production $29,950 pounds or $38,000 Ausy dollars before you put it on a boat to Perth. Bit pricey for me Cliffy .
Some of the others for sale in the UK are probably a good deal depending on shiping cost.. Could make a nice trip out of it visitthe son in laws parents, drive his porche ,hop over to Paris to get some doggy do on me shoe, visit the wifes rellys in Holland , hmmm pick up a new glider in Germany .
