1955 86' Seats
I am about to make some front wood seat bases.
I believe my current wooden frames are original but I am after a picture/ diagram/ sketch of the original in order to verify this.
Can anyone EMail me any leads.

Series 1 seat frames
I am going to make a few sets of bottom seat wooden frames. They will be of hardwood and same dimension as original with the tapered ends to fit into the seat locating slots. I will then \brace mine with plywood to provide extra support for the cushion.
I am yet to source vinyl for re-upholstery.
Anyone interested in timber frames? I would mill them but not assemble them in order to make post easier.

if you are going to make the bottoms use a solid piece of ply underneath as well it makes it a lot more stronger and stops it from sagging
