Info for a 49 resto needed

    HI everyone.

I've picked up a 49 and am about to start the restoration. I've noticed that the chassis is painted light green (it hasn't be re-painted - this I know).

I've done some research and noticed that the first 4500 had the matt silver chassis followed by the light green chassis up until June '49 after June they went to the Bronze Green.

I was just curious if anyone has any idea, or some research that shows how many units were produced with the light green chassis?

Thanks in advance for any help.

If your post up your chassis number iam sure those in the know can tell you the correct colour for the chassis and body work, I know the later production 1949 80" had deep bronze green chassis and body work but the easlier 1949 vehicles had the "sage green" painted chassis and body.

They changed to bronze green around 6000 so only around 1500 were light green
