    1950

I have a 1950 model , I bought it around 5 years ago . It looks rough as , the bodywork is rooted . The original 1600 motor is down on compression , 2 cyls are at 90 psi . But I use it around here for collecting and moving firewood, moving dirt, moving stones. As a tractor . pulling other vehicles around .

It has been so useful, I cannot be without it now. I fixed the water pump , new points , cleaned the spark plugs and she runs sweet . I sometimes sneak down to the neighbours place in it , 3k away

I have one of those Bull Bars - must have been a standard model at the time.

    They weigh a ton though.

So you've got the Series 1 with the round white fuel tank - they must have only been fitted for a short time as I've never seen one before!

The bull bar is alloy,it came off a S2 which means it's a few inches wider than the car. Perfect for charging lantana.Probably not much heavier than a bumper bar full of mud. .W.

I think Ampol Esso or Golden Fleece used to be the agent for those tanks.
