Two vehicles R06101685 and R06101686 just before yours were the first two CKD to A&T the whole lot probably arrived on the same ship to the Port of Brisbane mid November. I have a batch R06101825 arriving in Port Jackson 12/12/49

Have started a CKD list in the other A&T thread and am adding approximate arrival dates

Do you have the original firewall? If yes, the Important info plate was affixed to the right of the steering column, so there would be four screw holes. The long annand and Thompson plate was in front of the passenger, so there should be two holes for that if present, although the Rover Co Ltd plate was often affixed in the same location on the 1950 models.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

The more vehicles we find the closer we will get to getting a date or veh as close as possible.
Also Ill fix a typo, for the Important Plate I ment 1951 year model they were introduced so in truth they started attaching them late in 1950
I have attached some pics of 1950 veh 06115267, this veh is very original.

Does anyone have the insert for the Important information in their Instruction manual?

Have been looking for one for years.

    This one?

To add to the Lubrication plate discussion. NorthernLander and I have not really been able to figure out 100% when the plate started. Seeing 1950 Model 06101688 is an early Annand and Thompson but still a home market vehicle it would be interesting so see what other plates have been put on it like the Special Instructions plate and Dealer Plate.

My thinking is these plates started sometime around the start of CKD. Possibly earlier but the lack of A&T 49s makes this very hard to figure out.

On my 51, it didn't have the two Rover Co and A&T plates, just the A&T plate in the position of the red rectangle and the Important instructions NOT in the area of the purple.

May have been a friday vehicle

However its interesting to see the plates in a different spot, I know the NSW vehicles put the tyre wear plate to the right of the stearing wheel.

Well that's what you get for having the plate in an icecream tub and not looking under the tarp for a number of years!

I was thinking of my 1950 which only has the screws.

I just noticed the floor panels, they are deep bronze green! Is the seat box green as well?

This has been a conundrum for a while, Jim (RussellRovers) suggested his RACQ 86/88 had green front interior and my seat box and floor/tunnel cover show no evidence of the cream colour so I presumed they were replaced.
