i would have loved to jump in with you for that trip but i didnt have the bus fare back from......
im thinking of a long trip in mine ,perhaps to the sa gathering next year ,we need more treks in s1's just to trip people out lol

This was a great trip perhaps inspired a bit by watching too much "Top Gear" and I could have probably sent it on a car carrier for about the same cost or less but I have to tell you I had a ball. You have only seen a few photos and no videos yet. I met so many people and I really did enjoy it. I never really expected to get all the way home but this little truck would not give up. I cant wait to get all the mechanicals sorted and after the CSR trip next year I want to go all the way around OZ and back across the centre. I hope all of you including the guys in the UK enjoyed following me on this trek. Stand by for the video and more pics.

About the swivels. They are new chrome balls and new wiper seals. I have them oil filled so dont know how the grease got there. Are you sure it is grease and not oil?

When I put it on the hoist at Simmos in Bourke he told me they were grease packed. I will have another look and fill them up with oil.
