it is a nice 107 s/w.
it is the smoothest riding land rover I have been in.
swapped my winch for the correct one today with John At Witta but I will need all the bits to make it work . So will be trolling eBay and so forth. I got to drive this today a very nice wagon.

Leaving Qld and heading South on our way back to Perth this week.![]()
We drove up to Dungog to see Ben at Modern Motors about my parabolic springs . On they way near Clarence town I saw an 88 from the road. We dropped in and met the owners daughter Lara. One is being restored and the other is a parts car. Completely off the radar with no Help from anyone. Good to see another series 1 coming back to life. Apparently there were a lot sold around this area with the Dungog dealer topping sales in Australia 3 times in the early days. Could be a 48 around here somewhere.leaving Sydney tomorrow on our way home we have to get moving the pool has developed a leak and half the water is missing.

Have you a big bird visiting your pool for a quick drink?
.
The pool was half empty the fish pond was empty it must have been a bit hot over here.

Ian
Yes we stayed too long in Sydney and had to bolt home. Good news is we are going to be Grandparents that's why we stayed a bit longer. I drove 1900ks in one day in the Defender.
