Can anyone tell me if the 1955 Series 1 had provision for the 2 mounts that when the windscreen is folded over the bonnet, yes I' m mulling/undecided over a Series 1 I think, just need to find the room for it, cheers Dennis

    Series 1 bonnet fittings

Not that mine is original, though when the windscreen is folded over it has stays that are located at the top of the windscreen that fold over and clip into the triangular gal latch points on the bonet and the regular spring loaded clips hold the whole show in place. No extra saddle is required.

The props hinge from the windscreen. There are no bonnet mounts as such.

Only the S1 86 and 88 have got those fittings. They're missing on the 107/109 truck cab models. The retaining nuts on the frame are missing. The sharks teeth are also missing on a truck cab windscreen frame. .W.
