You're probably right Ian. But didn't I see in one of the photos the hood sticks and doors. Still, a terrific job to get it back to better than factory. But that is from what I see on the photos. And my photos are pretty nice as well and I admit that it brings out the best while there is probably still some stuff left to do (although little).

Day 2 of Hebe being listed on a number of websites.

Pffft can you believe it.... Someone in the UK is seriously considering shipping it over. I couldn't bear to do that... imagine I see it driving past while there. Of course I will help, but I rather find a buyer here.

I had one serious buyer the other day. In the end he preferred to spent 10,000$ on a car in NSW which conveniently doesn't show the engine, chassis etc. One owner and original paint in reasonably straight body and why that one above mine?... because Hebe didn't have the galvanised trimmings as original which was painted over.

    All this stuff is optional.

"were are the door tops, windows, bows, tilt, hard top, ute top etc et'

So dont really have to be a part of a good restoration but good on you Ian for getting them all together.

Hebe looks really good, hope you get what you want.

its only bits of this and that, like a few I saw at Cooma in 68.
when you rebuild a car finish it
my first 58 rebuild finished up with a tilt, tropical waggon full roof etc, and a ute cab, can drive it in 4 different variants.
My 49 comes with a tilt and truck cab.
It takes a rebuilder to do the lot

    sorry

    Hi

looks as if I need a new pair of glasses
or learn to read every thing, looked at several of the photos not the 20 odd.
well perhaps I should push the correct buttons in future.
You need to take Hebe with you, if you can't put him some where until you can
I think I be rather sick if I saw one of mine driving around UK
In the early 2000's I sold my first Series one, and found out later she was sent to the USA for a lot more than I received.
    cheers
    Ian

You couldn't have had much of a look, they were in the second last photo.

Had a look at that site with the 1951 80" for sale and the 2nd last photo shows hood sticks door tops, windscreen and a neatly folded soft top.
Still $27,000 for a vehicle that's not 100% correct (noticed a few oddities like incorrect park lights, Pre cleaner, battery, horn dip switch any many more that arnt correct!

I do wish you all the best with selling your vehicle but for the Aussie market price is just to high & that its near Christmas time does help much either.
Last year I sold my fully restored 1958 88" and could only get $5900 for it and that also included full hard top, truck cab and soft top frame with 12 months rego too

Oddly if it was an early 80" Iam sure you Landy would have sold long ago as there highly desirable.

Note not having a go, just being realistic.
I restored my very first series 1 in 1993 I have owned at least 20+ series 1s since.
