I would get the old one stainless steel sleeved. Expensive, I know but you would basically never be looking for a new one again, just the seal kit when the time came.
Dan.
69 2A 88" pet4 (still in disguise), 68 2B FC pet6 (still resting quietly), plus 20 (no, not a misprint!) other parts/project cars (2xS2s, 7xS2As, 11xS3s). I think I may have gotten a bit carried away.....
The adaptor I made worked great. About 30 mins work cost 3 dollars haha. Will keep 3 bolt original to sleeve when I can be bothered. Being a machinist 5 days a week means I hate machining stuff in my own time

Just took delivery of a Minerva master cylinder (thanks Arthur).
I'll post pics in my 'Series I with PTO welder' thread when I get a moment.

I just pulled the leaking 1 drive old cylinder. Looks fine but how old was the rubber? Will hunt up a new rubber and give it a go. Had problems with the fuel tank. It was full
Of anti leak but it had basically all come adrift. Cleaned the anti leak out so will see how it goes
