    Series 1 brake master cylinder

I picked up a series1 1956 short ute a week ago. Basically in great condition, just oil leaks from the engine sump, rocker cover and side plate. Now this thing drives great apart from lack of brakes. The master cylinder is shot so I ordered another one. It turned up today but is only 2 bolt flange not 3 bolt as what's on it. I can make the 2 bolt fit but that's going to take elongating the holes to change the PCD by 7mm.
Is this what most people have to do when changing master cylinders on the series 1s?
Also the adjustable link out of the master cylinder is a different thread but that's easy to change by just clipping the old one into the master cylinder.

The three hole master cylinders are still available for the 80" Minvera and can be made to fit the 86" by swapping over the pushrod.

I would sell the two bolt pattern one to someone with a 88" Series 2 and go to eBay in Belgian to pick up the three bolt one, the price of the one I brought wasn't too bad either.

There is a 2-bolt conversion kit available from the UK (saves modifying the outrigger). I'll see if I can remember who the supplier was.

    Found it http://www.dingocroft.co.uk/acatalog...Brakes-p3.html
