Can you tell what this engine is?

I have found a 1958 Series 1 109 LWB in a field, chassis number is 123801007, it looks ok in the chassis, a small amount of rust in the bulkhead, the question I have, can anyone tell me what the engine is, the guy thinks it is a holden, but I am not sure, due to its location, I could not see the engine number
    Thank you in advance
    cheers

The original spread bore 2 litre (1998cc).

Same overhead inlet valve side exhaust valve configuration as the later six cylinders.

Its a 1958 model (123801007) likely sold to the customer in about December 1958 or January 1959 according to the NSW Books.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

It does however have a Holden carb (Stromberg) BVXOU1

The engine number is under that mud stalagmite near cylinder 1

Yep, the only holden bit is the carb. The motor is series one land rover.
