Big farm clearance tomorrow at Kangaroo Hills several S1's and 2s in good restorable condition or for donors no 48 's so don't get too excited. See Elders farm clearance sales. I got Sue to send me the Landy pics if you want to see pm your email and I will forward them on. Also a nice S3 ute looks a runner .

    We went to the sale.

What a shame to see so many Series 1s go to scrap 4 I think and another 4 Series 2's, as far as I can gather, only 3 sold.

I picked up a really neat 58 Series 1, the second one in the row. I had originally intended to get this for a parts car, but that won't be the case now! This one was stored inside and was in good condition, with no apparent rust in the firewall. just a small punched hole

Also picked up a mountain of Series 1 Spares. We would have bought more, but with a 12 hour round trip and the seller wanting all removed by Monday, this wasn't possible

    Good to meet Landy Smurf

And absolute bargain buy you got there Erich.
My dad wish that I had bought those 2 series ones now . It is good to see they both went to good homes and that I will be able to see what happens to them.
I ended up leaving there at 6pm and was utterly exhausted.
I managed to get quite a few series stuff (mostly series one).
It was a great day out though and got to meet some nice and interesting land rover people, including a few off this forum and some that will hopefully soon be joining.

LMAO Digger. I bought some near perfect 80" guards for $30 the pair.
I think on average the scrap price per vehicle was $50. I know some went for $20

I'll never find straight guards for the 80's..

anyone have a 'exploded' plan view of them so I can talk to my engineering
    firm about making some?
