Its getting there!!!!
Turns out the master cylinder needs to be worked on and Carl (mechanic) has been really really good. There is a brake specialist next door so expect the blue slip not to long after the brakes are finished.
Will update when I know more

Don't you mean "standard"?
Standard 1950s RACQ fleet colour.
The chassis was sand blasted, repainted, engine professionally reconditioned, gearbox rebuilt, new wheel bearings all round, brakes overhauled, replacement steering box, new tie rod ends all over, steering relay overhauled, steering wheel and steering wheel centre reconditioned, instruments reconditioned. All this was done for LR60th, the remaining steps were painting the other panels and then 6 months before Cooma my finances went through the floor when two tennants stopped paying rent and I had to cover the mortgages rates etc myself. After that I lost interest in it.![]()
Only got any interest in things back when I bought the SIII FFR in 2009.
BTW: Am waiting to hear if Sweetpea passes its blue slip. Its been up at the inspector since this morning (not that I've been spying or anything, just my RRc is there today)
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
